Frustrated!

Potty Awareness

Ever since I took the "big boy potty" out Tysen has really taken an interest. I only got it out to start getting him aware of what we do with the potty and aware of the feeling. So every once in a while I set him on it and tell him to go "pee pee" or "poo poo" and he would just sit there feeling very proud to be on the potty. Nothing would come of it but at least he was liking being on the potty.
BUT yesterday was the first time he actually "pee peed" in the potty...TWICE! I, of course, had to ask him if he had to "go"...he won't tell me yet. Before, he would tell me "I poopy" but that is a little too late for the potty.

THEN, this morning I caught him all red faced in the corner and I asked him if he wanted to "POO POO" in the potty...he hesitated because I think he was already in the middle of pushing and then he said "ya" and ran straight to the potty wanting to get his pants off A.S.A.P. I sat him on the potty with his chocolate milk and went to finish the dishes and when I came back he had a BIG "SURPRISE" (seriously, what am I feeding him) waiting for me.

I have never been prouder!
I took a picture to prove it to Daddy (which I am sure he is not going to want to look at) I will spare my blog audience and not post it and I am sure it will get deleted by Daddy immediately!
